Full-time Maintenance Technician

Webster City Custom Meats®, a division of Midwest Quality Wholesale, is looking for a Maintenance Technician. This role will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation. This position involves troubleshooting issues, conducting inspections, and implementing preventive maintenance measures. Candidates must be motivated, mechanically inclined self-starters.

Job Duties:

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment throughout the facility, along with troubleshooting and replacing machinery, and maintaining accurate records of work completed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general facility repairs, preventative maintenance, repair and installation, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration.
• Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks throughout the plant.
• Complete all job functions in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform equipment lock out/tag out procedures when mandated by company policy.
• Follow all food safety and employee safety practices.
• Interact daily with plant operations and office support staff.
• Maintain accurate records/documentation of work completed.
• Participate in rotating maintenance plant check schedule.
• Assist with general facility repairs and installs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Industrial Mechanical experience: 1 year (Preferred but not required)
• High School or equivalent (Required)

This position is located at the Webster City Custom Meats® facility in Webster City, IA.
