Full-time Warehouse/Utility Worker

Webster City Custom Meats®, Inc., a division of Midwest Quality Wholesale, is seeking a Warehouse/Utility worker. This position will be based in our home office/production facility in Webster City, IA.

Job Details:

The Warehouse/Utility worker’s primary responsibilities are accepting and unloading trucks of non-meat supplies, organize and restock supplies, and transfer supplies to production building.  This position requires daily interaction with plant operations and truck drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner using forklift and other mechanical equipment
• Material handling of non-meat supplies (including but not limited to receiving, unloading, organizing and restocking)
• Transfer non-meat supplies to production building using a skid steer
• Inspect and charge all pallet trucks and forklifts
• Keep all pallet trucks and forklifts clean and free of debris
• Sort pallets (good from bad) and move them to their proper location
• Interact daily with plant operations and incoming truck drivers
• Operate a shag truck to move trailers between the yard and dock doors
• Complete all required logs/documentation
• Assist with lawn care and snow removal when necessary
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed

 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Forklift experience preferred
• Skid Steer experience preferred
• Requires good organizational skills
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Familiar with basic hand tools preferred

This position is located at the Webster City Custom Meats® facility in Webster City, IA
