Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
Score the skin in a diamond pattern, about ¼-inch deep. This helps glazes penetrate and gives a nice appearance.
Place the ham in a roasting pan uncovered. Heat until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C). Add your glaze in the last 20–30 minutes of heating. Let the ham rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
